Sara McIntyre

Assistant Department Chair

Sara McIntyre is a storyteller and multidisciplinary artist who brings real-world experience into the classroom. She loves supporting students to express their creative intentions through tangible skills.

Sara’s professional background includes story development, casting, and creative direction for film, television, and theatre; and multi-media & traditional communications. She earned an M.A. in Liberal Studies with a focus on sexuality and disability on screen; and is perpetually engaged in professional development with a broad range of interests.

Sara has taught at Langara College since 2015. She is the Assistant Chair of the Professional Photography Diploma program where she teaches video production and introductory photography.
