Sara McIntyre

Assistant Department Chair

Sara McIntyre’s multi-disciplinary career is grounded in storytelling. She trained as a film director through Women in the Director’s Chair; as a co-active coach through The Coaches Training Institute; and as a sexual health educator through Options for Sexual Health.

She has collaborated on short and feature-length films about Indigenous culture and on stories about sexuality and disability. She has also worked in corporate communications and as a casting director, and holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies. Sara’s approach to teaching photography and video production centers curiosity, creativity, and personal narrative.
